About company

Levenhuk is a major American manufacturer of optical devices and instruments such as microscopes, telescopes, binoculars, monoculars, spotting scopes and accessories. Particular attention is given to producing optics for children under the Levenhuk LabZZ trademark, including attractive and user-friendly telescopes, microscopes, binoculars and science kits.

We also produce optics endorsed by Discovery channel — wonderful instruments designed to encourage curiosity and quench people’s thirst for knowledge about the surrounding world.

The company’s other business area is the production of measuring tools under the brand name Ermenrich, including various tools for equipment inspection and repair — laser distance meters, tape measures, moisture and gas detectors, etc.

We have designed MAGUS microscopes specifically for professional users. It is an expert brand of high-end microscopes that professionals will appreciate. These models are suitable for medicine, metallography, geology, veterinary science, and other areas of application. The series includes biological, fluorescent, inverted, metallurgical, polarizing, and stereoscopic microscopes as well as various accessories and attachments.

The company is headquartered in the United States (Tampa) with sales and delivery branches in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia, and manufacturing facilities in China.

Right from the start in 2002 Levenhuk focused its efforts on underserved markets outside of the US, in particular in Canada and Central and Eastern Europe, which presented larger opportunities. Levenhuk's primary objective was to promote high-quality optics in these regions because of their insufficient supply and cost-sensitivity for most of the products available in the market at that time. Levenhuk took the opportunity to enter the market niche with a totally new product portfolio, having set the goal of making optics affordable for every customer. The success built on this step made it possible for the company to become a respected leader in the optics market, with the largest market share in CEE.

Currently Levenhuk has a direct presence and extensive dealer network in 42 countries: Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, United Kingdom, Hungary, Iceland, India, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, US, and South Africa. The company's future growth and expansion plans include opening regional branches and developing a distribution network in Southern America and further expanding in Europe.

According to the law on the sales registration, the seller is obliged to issue a receipt to the buyer. The seller is also obliged to make online registration of the received tax revenue immediately, however in case of technical problems, within maximum 48 hours.
