The Levenhuk Wezzer SN20 thermometer is a gadget designed specifically to track temperature changes in the sauna. At an operating temperature of approximately 74°C (165°F), there will be no problems, as the maximum operating temperature of the SN20 remote sensor is 150°C.
The sensor should be placed in the air rather than in direct contact with metal surfaces. If the sensor comes into contact with metal, however, the temperature readings will be inaccurate, since the sensor will measure the temperature of the metal rather than the air.
Placing the display in a protective box or plastic bag is acceptable.
Therefore, there are no contraindications to using the SN20 in a dryer.

The device will withstand temperatures from -40 to +70, but it has no protection; the product is intended for indoor use. It is not recommended to leave it in the rain/snow. You can make some kind of temporary shelter for the device while you are in the sauna, and then immediately remove it.
