Levenhuk Bruno BASE 20x80 are powerful binoculars created for those who want to view lunar craters, the moons of Jupiter, and bright nebulae in detail. They open a path to serious astronomical research even in moderate light conditions. The device is also suitable for terrestrial observations at long distances.
The binoculars have a 20x magnification for the detailed observation of extremely remote objects. The 80 mm objective lenses provide a high aperture for observations in low light. The device is based on fully multi-coated optics: Porro prisms of BaK-4 glass and K9/ZF1 lenses. Due to this, the optical elements provide high light transmission and a detailed picture without distortion at the edges. The 4mm exit pupil allows you to conduct observations during predawn hours or at twilight. Diopter adjustment +4D helps you to adjust the sharpness of the image if there is a difference in vision between the right and left eyes, and smooth central focusing allows you to quickly adjust the focus on the target.
The device body is made of aluminum alloy. It has rubber coating for a secure grip and shock protection. IPX3 moisture resistance allows you to continue observations during drizzle or sleet without worrying about the binoculars’ performance. Close focus 16m makes the model more suitable for working on distant rather than on close targets, and the use of a tripod (purchased separately) relieves the hands from unnecessary strain and ensures image stability. Tripod mounting is performed without additional adapters, and you can use a built-in adapter.
The binoculars combine bright optics, well-thought-out ergonomics and a rugged design for maximum viewing comfort. Therefore, you can focus on exploring the solar system, bright star clusters, and nebulae as well as the most inaccessible landscapes on Earth.
