Description

Thanks to their 10x magnification and powerful 50mm aperture lenses, the Levenhuk Discovery New Gator 10x50 binoculars are well-suited for most everyday tasks, be it a hiking trip, fishing, or a visit to a stadium. This is a simple and reliable Porro prism device featuring fully coated BK-7 glass optics. The high light transmission of the optics allows you to use the binoculars in low light conditions, for example, to observe the starry sky in all its glory, as the model features a decent 7° field of view.

The device has a classic aluminum alloy body covered with rubber, complete with pleasant textured inserts for a secure grip. The IPX3 water resistance is sufficient for observing when exposed to light rain or snowfall. You can adjust the focus using the large central wheel, which features smooth movement and a textured surface. As usual, the interpupillary distance is adjustable within a 56mm to 72mm range, and there is a diopter adjustment from −3D to +3D. Fans of long stationary observations will appreciate the ability to mount the binoculars on a tripod. However, this also requires you to purchase a separate 1/4-inch adapter.

The Levenhuk Discovery New Gator 10x50 is visually appealing and serves as a versatile device with a great price-to-quality ratio. The manufacturer has included everything needed for comfortable use, such as protective lens caps, a cleaning cloth, a strap, and a convenient fabric pouch.

Key features:

  • Porro prisms, 50mm objective lens diameter, and 10x magnification
  • BK-7 borosilicate crown glass optics with a fully coated finish
  • Attractive design and rubber-coated aluminum alloy body
  • IPX3 protection against rain and snow
  • Can be mounted on a tripod using an adapter (not included)

The kit includes:

  • Binoculars
  • Eyepiece and objective lens protective caps
  • Strap
  • Pouch
  • Cleaning cloth
  • User manual and warranty slip
