The Levenhuk Discovery New Gator 20x50 is a powerful device with 20x magnification. These binoculars are perfect for spotting fine details at long distances, whether you are hunting in the mountains or playing a round of golf. The objective lens diameter of the model is 50mm, and the optical design is based on Porro prisms. To prevent light loss, the binoculars use fully coated BK-7 borosilicate glass optics.
The binoculars feature a classic design. Focusing is controlled by a large, textured central wheel. A ring on the right eyepiece provides ±3D diopter adjustment. You can also set the interpupillary distance anywhere from 56mm to 72mm to perfectly match your eyes. For extended viewing sessions, you can mount the binoculars on a tripod using a standard adapter (sold separately).
The Levenhuk Discovery New Gator 20x50 features a durable aluminum alloy body with a rubber coating for a secure grip. This rubber armor protects the binoculars from everyday bumps and moisture. The IPX3 water resistance rating for these binoculars indicates that they can handle light rain, but they are not suitable for water submersion or extreme weather. Even though these binoculars have large lenses, the device still weighs under 800 grams, meaning it will not weigh down your backpack. The box includes a neck strap, protective caps for the eyepieces and objective lenses, a microfiber cleaning cloth, and a handy pouch for safe storage and transport.
