Description

The Levenhuk New Vegas ED 12x56 binoculars are specifically designed for observation in low-light conditions and during heavy precipitation. Featuring powerful 12x magnification, a 5.4° field of view, and bright 56mm lenses, these binoculars deliver the critical detail required for field observations. They are ideally suited for hunters, fishermen, naturalists, hikers, forest rangers, and rescue workers. All of the prisms and lenses feature multi-layer anti-reflective coatings. This makes the binoculars easy to use in deep twilight as well as in cloudy or overcast weather, while maintaining a bright, sharp, and realistic image. The Levenhuk New Vegas ED 12x56 delivers exceptional performance for both targeted observation at long distances and general surveillance at very long ranges.

A key advantage of these binoculars is their well-engineered optical system. It is constructed using high-quality roof prisms made from BaK-4 optical glass that provide excellent light gathering capabilities. The compact prism design results in a relatively small housing, making the binoculars convenient to transport and use. The lenses are made from extra-low dispersion glass, which reduces chromatic aberration and maintains accurate color reproduction. For user convenience, the Levenhuk New Vegas ED 12x56 binoculars offer multiple adjustments. These include twist-up eyecups with adjustable height and locking positions that are safe for the sensitive skin around the eyes. The binoculars also feature diopter adjustment within a ±4D range and interpupillary distance adjustment from 63mm to 78mm. A central focusing knob simultaneously adjusts sharpness for both optical tubes.

A significant advantage of this model is its resistance to the given weather conditions. The housing is IP67 rated and, therefore, provides protection against rain, snow, dust, dirt, and even direct exposure to water, such as an accidental drop into water. The interior of the binoculars is nitrogen-purged. This inert gas prevents internal lens fogging, inhibits internal corrosion, and slows the formation of bacterial biofilm. The housing of the Levenhuk New Vegas ED 12x56 is constructed from a shock-resistant and durable magnesium-aluminum alloy, a material that reliably withstands harsh environmental conditions.
