Levenhuk MED D10T LCD Digital Microscope is equipped with a digital camera with an LCD screen, which does not require connecting it to a computer. Due to that, the microscope is self-sufficient: it does not require additional equipment for revealing all of its capabilities. It allows for conducting observations using the bright field method, taking pictures of research and recording them to a video. The image resolution is sufficient for sharp and clear transmitting the small details of complicated biological structures.
High-class optics
The achromatic objective lenses allow for detailed observing of the micro objects at a magnification in a range from 40x to 1000x. The 100x objective lens is used for observations using oil immersion (a bottle with immersion oil is included in the kit). Moreover, objectives with high magnifications feature spring-loaded frames that protect the optics from being damaged accidentally. The wide-field eyepieces provide 10x magnification and are suitable for working with extended specimens. All of the optical elements are protected with an anti-fungal coating.
A practical rotatable head
The head consists of a binocular visual part and vertical ocular tube, in which a digital camera is installed. A 30° inclination angle of a visual part is convenient for lengthy observations as it allows for reducing tension on the neck muscles. The 360° rotatable head is useful for group research.
Digital capabilities
A digital camera deserves special attention: a 5MP sensor allows for shooting photos and videos in high quality; an image seen in an objective lens is transmitted to an LCD screen in real-time mode. Pre-installed software allows for setting up a camera, editing photographs and video footage, saving shots for further work. Moreover, you can also connect headphones, a keyboard, and a mouse. External memory storage is supported. The camera makes working in a laboratory easier and more practical for an explorer: there is no need to strain your eyes when observing slides through eyepieces, as everything can be seen on a built-in LCD screen with sensor control. The software allows for adjusting the size, image brightness and contrast, gamma, sharpness and saturation, exposure time and white balance, calibrating a camera and objective lenses as well as measuring specimens or structures (several measurement units are available). In addition, the program allows for carrying out particle analysis.
Convenient work with microscope slides
The stage is equipped with a mechanical scale that is used for the precise placement of specimens under an objective lens. A double-layer mechanical stage can be moved along two axes. Coarse and fine focusing is used for sharpness adjustment.
Bright illumination of microscope slides
The illumination system is located in the lower part of the microscope. It consists of a bright 5W LED light and Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm and a filter holder. The light brightness is adjustable. It is powered by an AC power supply.

Caution:
Please refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110V device into 220V outlet and vice versa without using a converter. Remember that mains voltage in the U.S. and Canada is 110V and 220–240V in most European countries.
Some things you can see under a microscope:
Levenhuk MED D10T LCD Digital Trinocular Microscope is also compatible with other Levenhuk digital cameras (additional cameras are purchased separately). Levenhuk cameras are installed in the eyepiece tube instead of an eyepiece. This microscope is also compatible with any other digital microscope cameras.
