Description

Levenhuk Skyline 50x600 AZ Telescope is a compact refractor perfect for entry-level astronomical observations. This model features high-quality optics, reliable construction and remarkable ease of use. With this telescope you will be able to observe lunar craters, phases of Venus, atmospheric flows of Jupiter, rings of Saturn and a large variety of other celestial objects. Levenhuk Skyline 50x600 is also suitable for terrestrial observations.

The lenses are covered with a special coating, which allows for maximum light-gathering capacity of the optics. As a result, the images you can enjoy with this telescope are always sharp and clear.

The telescope comes with 5x optical finder scope, which helps you easily find desired celestial objects. The kit also includes three eyepieces: 20 mm, 12.5 mm and 4 mm, when installed on the telescope the eyepieces provide 30x, 48x and 150x magnification power respectively. Remember that the higher the magnification, the narrower the field of view you can observe; that’s why it’s important to start your observations with an eyepiece with the longest focal length. The kit also contains 3x Barlow lens that will help you significantly extend the range of the telescope’s magnifications. To use the telescope for terrestrial observation, you can use 1.5x erecting eyepiece, which provides direct (not inverted and not mirrored) images and is also included in the kit.

The telescope tube is installed on an altazimuth mount, allowing you to move the tube horizontally and vertically. A sturdy aluminum tripod that supports the mount comes with a convenient accessory tray, and that means additional eyepieces and the Barlow lens will also be within easy reach during your observations.

The kit includes:

  • Levenhuk Skyline 50x600 AZ Telescope
  • 20 mm eyepiece (30x)
  • 12.5 mm eyepiece (48x)
  • 4 mm eyepiece (150x)
  • 1.5x erecting eyepiece
  • 3x Barlow lens
  • 5x24 finderscope
  • Diagonal mirror
  • Cleaning wipe
  • Altazimuth mount
  • Aluminum tripod and accessory tray
  • User manual and lifetime warranty

Questions and Answers
Leo Me (2018.04.27)
hi! I’d like to know the telescope’s field of view at 1000 meters with 20mm anf 12.5mm eyepieces. And, for example, will I see a boat in detail at 5000 meters away?
Customer service:
The manufacturer does not specify this characteristic. Yes, you will be able to observe a boat at 5,000 meter distance, but without details.
Loyd Berry (2018.02.23)
This model is for kids… can adults use it as well (with no experience)?
Customer service:
Levenhuk Skyline 50x600 AZ Telescope can be used by both children and adults.
Lurry Choms (2017.12.11)
Hello! Which telescope should I buy to a 10yo astronomer? Levenhuk Skyline 50x600 AZ or LEVENHUK Strike 50 NG? which one’s better and why?
Customer service:
Technical characteristics of these two telescopes are the same, but Levenhuk Strike 50 NG has a wider accessory kit, which is preferable.
Quastion (2017.11.25)
what’s the point? how am I supposed to observe houses, trees, and mountains if images are upside down?
Customer service:
The finderscope is designed to search for an object, not for observations.
Dora (2017.11.25)
Hello! Image is reversed upside down in the finder… why?
Customer service:
Finderscope of the Levenhuk Skyline 50x600 AZ gives you reversed (upside down) images due to its design.

Charles Serrano (2016.11.22)
Hello! I want to purchase this telescope (first I thought about buying a microscope, but changed my mind) for a kid (6yo) to observe the Moon (craters) and for terrestrial viewing from 500-10000 meters. Is this model a good choice for these plans? And one more thing - if I point this telescope at some house, will it be upside-down, or mirrored, or direct? Thanks for your help!
Customer service:
Levenhuk Skyline 50x600 AZ telescope comes with a 1.5x erecting eyepiece that gives you direct images of terrestrial objects. This telescope is suitable for lunar and terrestrial observations.
Ann Curry (2016.05.14)
Hello! What Solar System objects can I clearly see with this telescope? Will I be able to see deep-sky objects?
Customer service:
Please pay attention to this article https://www.levenhuk.com/blog/knowledge-base-telescopes/things-you-can-see-with-a-telescope-based-on-its-aperture/ . You can see all of the listed objects if you are an experienced observer and the sky conditions are good.
Ann Stevens (2015.10.17)
I want to give it to my 13 y/o son. I know it's not very powerful, so will he be able to see Europa at least?
Customer service:
With Levenhuk Skyline 50x600 AZ you will be able to see Jupiter's moons as stars.
Paloma Diaz (2015.05.18)
The description says you can observe Venus and Saturn rings. At the same time you say that planets will be seen as peas. Please clarify.
Customer service:
When observing with Levenhuk Skyline 50x600 Telescope, Solar System planets will appear as peas.
No One (2015.04.20)
Hello! I want a telescope, but my budget is very limited. I need a model for an adult beginner. I would like to observe Solar System planets and deep sky objects. I think this telescope might be what I'm looking for. But maybe you can suggest something else?
Customer service:
Levenhuk Skyline 50x600 Telescope is a good choice. With this telescope you will be able to observe lunar surface in detail. Planets will be seen as bright peas. Unfortunately, telescopes in this price range don't allow observing deep sky objects.
