Description

Levenhuk Strike 80 NG is perfect for beginners or amateurs; an astronomy telescope that can help introduce learners to the fascinating world of stars, planets and far away galaxies.

Its range of capabilities is much broader than that of other models in this series. With its 360x magnification, this telescope shows you the smallest details of lunar craters and highlands; phases of Mercury; the Cassini Gap in the rings of Saturn and its moon, Iapetus; the largest details in the atmospheric flows of Jupiter; and polar caps of Mars during opposition. The telescope can even show you the binary stars with a separation of 1.6 arcseconds between their components, and has a limiting stellar magnitude of 11.5. And all this you get right out of the box!

This telescope would be perfect for any amateur astronomer. The optics included in the kit and the ease of set up and use allow even a child to observe and discover the marvels of the universe.

Levenhuk Strike NG is a brand new series of telescopes for amateur and beginner astronomers. Levenhuk Strike NG Telescopes are a wise choice for those who don't want to spend time assembling and adjusting a telescope, or browsing through an expansive list of accessories. Apart from the telescope itself, you also get the optics for astronomical and terrestrial observations and handbooks on astronomy that both amateurs and more advanced users will find interesting and useful. All of this makes the Levenhuk Strike NG Telescope one of the best beginners’ telescopes.

The kit includes everything you will need to make your observations fascinating and captivating. The informative handbooks and advanced software allow even a beginner to find the desired object in the night sky. This amazing telescope comes in a colorful box, and would make a perfect gift for any aspiring astronomer, who would cherish it for many years to come.

The kit is far more advanced than you would expect

1. "See it all!" Astronomer's Handbook
This practical handbook will help any amateur plan and then enjoy stargazing. Written by a renowned expert, Alexander Shimbalev, it guides you through your first steps on the road to amazing discoveries. The book includes a number of star charts, listing the most interesting celestial objects. Commentaries help you orient yourself to the observation object and set up the telescope properly. Large-format prints showing the constellations and objects give you a preview of what the object should look like during your observations. This book takes you on a journey through the celestial sphere, where you will learn about 280 celestial objects and how to quickly locate them in the night sky, study the lunar surface, and observe the planets of the Solar System.

2. Stellarium is 3D planetarium software that allows you to see everything you can observe through a medium- or even high-powered telescope, including over 600,000 stars, planets of the Solar System, the Moon, nebulae and Milky Way galaxy. This software is capable of recreating a realistic sky in real time, providing you with panoramic views and allowing you to observe sunsets and sunrises, eclipses and comets without leaving your home. Now you can observe the sky even when it is raining cats and dogs outside.

3. Space Posters Set (Moon, Sun and Other Stars, Solar System)
Three posters showing the cosmos as we know it. Each poster presents interesting information on various celestial objects in an easy-to-read format. The posters are 84x60cm (33x24in), printed on glossy coated paper.

  • Moon Poster. You will find out about the history of lunar exploration, learn all the characteristics of the Earth's satellite, and find answers to many questions that interest mankind, including the nature of dark spots on the lunar surface.
  • Sun and Other Stars Poster. This poster shows you that even though the Sun provides heat and light for the planets in the Solar System, it is still far from being a cosmic giant, as there are stars hundreds and even thousands times larger than the Sun. The poster includes the main characteristics of the stars, such as their physical properties and their history.
  • Solar System Poster. You will learn a number of interesting facts on the planets of the Solar System, including their composition, physical characteristics and age. Some descriptions contain predictions on the future of discussed planets, which make this poster a ticket on a journey in space and time through the Solar System.

4. Planisphere
This is a rotating star chart that helps you quickly and easily determine what celestial objects may be observed at a given date and time. It allows you to locate specific constellations or other objects at certain latitudes for your planned observations. The planisphere is very easy to use: all you do is align the date on the star chart with a time on the viewer, and you will get an exact representation of the night sky. It is very reliable and will serve you for many years to come.

5. Compass
People often forget how useful a compass can be during observations. Quickly orienting yourself in an unfamiliar place and determining where north is can be very easy with this compact compass. Easily locating the North Pole, Polaris and the Big Dipper will allow you to quickly begin your observations.

The kit includes:

  • Levenhuk Strike NG Telescope on a Yoke mount with declination axis
  • Stainless steel tripod
  • 1.25" plastic focuser
  • Two 1.25" eyepieces: F20mm, F6mm
  • 3x Barlow lens

  • "See it all!" Astronomer's Handbook with descriptions of 280 celestial objects
  • Space Posters Set (Moon, Sun and Other Stars, Solar System)
  • Planisphere
  • Stellarium software CD to assist you during your astronomical observations
  • Compass
  • User manual and lifetime warranty

This kit is a great way to study and practice astronomy, learn how to locate constellations, and observe the planets of the Solar System.

Hello! I've scanned all the answers but now I'm even more confused...
Which filter is suitable for this telescope model? Levenhuk Solar Filter for 70mm Reflector Telescopes, Levenhuk Solar Filter for 76mm Reflector Telescopes, Levenhuk Solar Filter for 102mm Refractor Telescopes?
All those filters were advised here...
Customer service:
Levenhuk Solar Filter for 76mm Reflector Telescopes and Levenhuk Solar Filter for 102mm Reflector Telescopes are both suitable for this telescope (but they don't fit tight enough, so you will have to fix them additionally). Levenhuk Solar Filter for 70mm Reflector Telescopes is the least suitable one. Unfortunately, we don't have a filter that would fit Levenhuk Strike 80 NG perfectly at the time.

Scott m. (2015.08.05)
Greetings! Can 360x magnification be achieved using standard eyepieces or additional eyepieces are required? If so, which eyepiece is needed?
Customer service:
The highest practical power of the Levenhuk Strike 80 NG telescope is 160x. In order to achieve this magnification you need a 4.5mm eyepiece, increasing magnification any further will decrease image quality heavily.
Ron Stephens (2015.07.14)

For example with F20 eyepiece you will get 36x, with F6 - 120x. With this telescope you will be able to observe galaxies, nebulae, the Milky Way, and, of course, the Moon and Solar System planets.
Mark Larsen (2015.03.10)
Hello! Help me please! I'm choosing between Levenhuk Strike 80 NG and Levenhuk Strike 90 PLUS. Actually I'm leaning toward Strike 90 PLUS, but its 600 mm focal length and 90 mm objective lens make me doubt (strike 80 NG has 720 mm focal length)... What about image quality? which telescope wins? And I'm also planning to use it for astrophotography with my camera Pentax K20. Which one would you advise me?
Customer service:
Levenhuk Strike 90 PLUS Telescope is a better choice for astrophotography. When choosing a telescope, you should focus on the objective lens diameter - it is the most crucial feature.
Todd Dyer (2015.03.07)

Wes Hurlbert (2015.03.02)
I've recently bought this model. To be honest, I expected more... You can observe lunar crates, seas, some galaxies, stars, but, in general, it is only a good instrument for observing the Moon and Jupiter. For a beginner it is great I believe... but as a former beginner I can assure you that with some experience it won't be enough anymore, you will want something more powerful, with more abilities. I would give it 8 points out of 10.
Customer service:
Thank you for your feedback on Levenhuk Strike 80 NG Telescope!
Eric Greenler (2015.02.17)
Last summer I purchased this model and also Bresser Super Plossl 6.5 mm eyepiece, wanted to enjoy beautiful views of Jupiter... but all I can see is a very blurry spot (when I use 20 mm eyepiece from the kit the image is also blurred). how can I fix that? As I can read on your website, I should be able to see Jupiter's bands and great red spot as well.
Customer service:
Could you please be more specific? Which accessories did you use? Did you also install 3x Barlow lens? What about other objects (the Moon, stars)? Are they blurred as well?
Neal Conrad (2015.02.15)
hello! I don't get one thing... This is your comment that you posted some time ago, where you recommended using 80 mm solar filter with this telescope:
Sara Jacobson (2013-07-28 12:31):
1. Is it possible to see Uranus, Neptune through it 2. Which filter is needed for observing the Sun
Levenhuk Customer Service:
1. You will see Uranus and Neptune as small discs without details. 2. To observe the Sun you will need this filter: {{ {{ http://www.levenhuk.com/products/solar-filter-levenhuk80/.link.link }} }}
And then I accidently found this among comments on Levenhuk 80 mm Solar Filter product page:
jamie alexander (2013-11-12 01:49):
Is it suitable for use with levenhuk strike 80 ng??
Levenhuk Customer Service:
Unfortunately Levenhuk 80 mm Solar Filter does not fit Levenhuk Strike 80 NG telescope. More precisely, it will cover the lens, but it won't be tight on the telescope.
Is it a mistake? is this filter suitable for the model or not?
Customer service:
A more thorough testing of the Levenhuk 80 mm solar filter has revealed their mismatch. The diameter of the lens shade does not coincide with the filter diameter.
Raul Conley (2015.01.06)
Hello! I am from Fairbanks, Alaska. I don't have a clue about telescopes, and, honestly, have no idea why I chose this particular model (maybe its low price attracted me)... so what do you think? If I purchase this telescope, will I need some accessories in addition because of our harsh climate? Thanks in advance!
Customer service:
Levenhuk Strike 80 NG has a lifetime warranty and comes with rich accessory kit. It is perfect for both astronomical and terrestrial observations. Its standard barrel diameter of 1.25" allows you to purchase additional eyepieces and Barlow lenses.
Ted Skinner (2014.12.14)
Could you recommend any eyepiece with magnification of about 75x? the kit includes only 36x and 120x eyepieces...
Customer service:
You need 10mm eyepiece (72x), but unfortunately those are out of stock at the moment.
Tyler Sharpe (2014.11.27)
Can I observe terrestrial objects with this instrument?
Customer service:
Levenhuk Strike 80 NG Telescope is suitable for terrestrial observations, produced images will be mirrored. To get correctly oriented images you can use an erecting prism.
Clayton Kidd (2014.11.26)
what is the magnification of eyepieces?
Customer service:
Levenhuk Strike 80 NG Telescope comes with 20 mm and 6 mm eyepieces. With 20 mm eyepiece magnification will be 36x and with 6 mm - 120x. The kit also includes 3x Barlow lens, which means that magnification will be increased 3 times.
Clayton Kidd (2014.11.19)
What is the maximum magnification power of this telescope?
Customer service:
The maximum useful magnification of Levenhuk Strike 80 NG Telescope is 160x.
Clayton Kidd (2014.11.12)
images will be upright?
Customer service:
Levenhuk Strike 80 NG Telescope produces direct (not inverted), but mirrored images.
Ed Ramer (2014.10.30)
Is it possible to return a telescope with no defects? I would like to exchange it for a more expensive model with an additional payment. The telescope is in great condition: box, all accessories and everything. I only used it like 2 times. And one more question… I have one more telescope, very old, can I exchange it to a gift card or a discount?
Customer service:
1. Goods return or exchange is only possible if the product has not been in use. 2. Unfortunately, there is no such possibility.
Lucas West (2014.09.24)
Hello! I bought this telescope 2 years ago when it was just released. It is the best choice for a beginner. It performs well in the city (we have low light pollution level though) and in the countryside. I used it a lot and nothing happened to it - the telescope is just like new. Thank you for such a great instrument.
Customer service:
Thank you for your feedback on Levenhuk Strike 80 NG!
William Jordan (2014.09.12)
I bought Levenhuk Strike 80 NG (which is a great telescope I should say) and my friend told me to buy 4mm eyepiece to use with it, but I have my doubts. So could you tell me if it makes any sense to use 4mm eyepiece with Strike 80 NG?
Customer service:
We don't recommend using 4mm eyepiece with the Levenhuk Strike 80 NG telescope since in this case the highest practical power of your telescope (180x) will be exceeded.
Andy Robbins (2014.08.25)
I'm really interested in this model, but I have no experience with telescopes and I also have a low vision, so here's the question: my myopia is minus 8, will I be able to see anything through this telescope? Or any telescope at all? Do they have diopter adjustment? I have binoculars with this feature (diopter adjustment), so I have no problems with them.
Customer service:
You can observe with Levenhuk Strike 80 NG while wearing glasses, for more comfortable observations please consider using eyepieces with long eye relief.
Ronald Blair (2014.08.25)
Hello! Does this telescope provide mirrored images like Levenhuk Strike 90 plus does?
Customer service:
The Levenhuk Strike 80 NG telescope provides mirrored and inverted (upside down) images. To obtain direct images erecting prism is required. Unfortunately this telescope accessory is currently unavailable in our store.
kelly glover (2014.06.06)
Bresser Arcturus 60/700.
Can I use an erecting prism (I have Meade #933 for ETX-60/70/80) with Levenhuk Strike 80 NG to get direct images? Thanks!
Customer service:
1. Yes, this erecting eyepiece is suitable for Levenhuk Strike 80 NG.
2. No, this erecting prism can not be used with Levenhuk Strike 80 NG.
kelly glover (2014.06.04)
Previously I had Bresser telescope and there was 1.5x erecting eyepiece included in the kit, the eyepiece gives a direct image. Is this eyepiece suitable for use with Levenhuk Strike 80 NG? Can I combine 20 mm eyepiece, 3x Barlow lens and 1.5x erecting lens? I expect that it will give me 162x magnification
Customer service:
Please specify the model of your previous telescope.
Megan Levine (2014.05.05)
Tell me... which model has more capabilities? This one or Levenhuk Skyline 70x900 EQ? what's the crucial difference between them?
Customer service:
Levenhuk Strike 80 NG will be preferable due to the large number of additional accessories that come in the kit; it also has larger objective lens diameter and produce higher maximum magnification.
ELLEN CONRAD (2014.04.25)
Hi, Levenhuk! I can't decide which telescope to choose. Could you help me? Thanks in advance!
Levenhuk Strike 80 NG Telescope - {{ {{ http://www.levenhuk.com/catalogue/telescopes/levenhuk-strike-80-ng/.link.link }} }}; Levenhuk Skyline 70x900 EQ Telescope - {{ {{ http://www.levenhuk.com/catalogue/telescopes/levenhuk-skyline-70x900-eq/.link.link }} }}; Levenhuk Skyline 76x700 AZ Telescope - {{ {{ http://www.levenhuk.com/catalogue/telescopes/levenhuk-skyline-76x700-az/.link.link }} }}.
Customer service:
We suggest you to decide in favor of Levenhuk Strike 80 NG because it's a great choice for beginners due to its extensive kit of additional accessories.
Jeffery (2014.04.05)
I inserted Barlow lens in the focuser, then diagonal prism with an eyepiece (6 mm). But I can't see anything. only darkness) Help me to fix it, please.
Customer service:
The procedure for installing Levenhuk accessories (for Strike 80 NG model): 1. Diagonal prism; 2. Barlow Lens; 3. Eyepiece.
Ramon Ortega (2014.03.08)
Tell me please, quality of eyepieces that come in the kit is fine? What materials are used for tubes and optics?
Customer service:
We didn't receive any complaints about Levenhuk Strike 80 NG standard eyepieces. The tube is made of aluminum and plastic, and for the optics only high-quality glass is used.
Nicole (2014.02.19)
I really enjoy the telescope! Only it's a pity that it's black and white.
Customer service:
Thank you for your feedback on the Levenhuk Strike 80 NG telescope! Image observed through the eyepiece is usually colored, but not always. The image is colored when observing terrestrial objects, as well as the Moon and planets, and you can see the colors of some stars. At the same time, faint objects in deep space, such as galaxies or nebula, are visible through the telescope as grayish clouds. However, when looking through large telescopes with objective lens diameter of 250-300 mm and more, you may notice some subtle colors of the brightest deep sky objects. In addition to the telescope aperture, it also depends on the viewing conditions (primarily on the level of illumination), an adaptation of eyes to the dark and the individual vision characteristics of the observer. But even the largest professional telescopes can't help us to see deep sky objects as bright and colorful, as we are used to see on astro photos.
Lynn Odonnell (2014.01.30)
Hello. I am ready to buy my first telescope, please help me choose the right model. The budget is $100-150. I've never owned a telescope before and have zero experience, which model is better for a beginner like me? Which model has better optics and higher image quality? Which type of mount is better for beginners? Thanks in advance.
Customer service:
We recommend you to decide in favor of Levenhuk Strike 80 NG Telescope, because it's an optimal choice for beginners in regards of quality, kit and ease of use. Please note that Levenhuk products are covered by lifetime warranty. As for the mount, then the best type for entry-level users is alt-azimuth since it doesn't require additional settings and is very easy to use. Telescopes on alt-azimuth mounts also can be used for terrestrial observations.
Carla Wayman (2014.01.20)
Are images colored? Aren't they reversed?
Customer service:
Levenhuk Strike 80 NG Telescope provides colored images during terrestrial observations, not reversed, but mirrored. Images provided by almost any telescope during visual observations are closer to black and white than colored. The only exception is the Moon.
Trina Wall (2014.01.20)
When observing during summer nights dew settles on the objective. Doesn't it get inside the tube?
Customer service:
Levenhuk Strike 80 NG Telescope is equipped with a dew cap. But even if water gets inside the tube it's not a big deal - you will be able to dry the telescope.
Ann Berg (2014.01.20)
The magnification of this telescope is 360x, then I assume it's better than Levenhuk Skyline 70x900 EQ?
Customer service:
The highest practical power of the Levenhuk Strike 80 NG telescope is 160x (twice the aperture). These calculations apply to all refractors. 360x is the maximum magnification you can get out of the box, but image quality won't be satisfactory. Therefore Levenhuk Skyline 70x900 is really less powerful than Levenhuk Strike 80 NG, but only by 20x.
Joshua (2014.01.19)

Hello, is it possible to use microscope eyepiece with this telescope?
Customer service:
Only telescope eyepieces are compatible with Levenhuk Strike 80 NG Telescope! You should only use telescope eyepieces with telescopes since work of microscope eyepieces is based on different principles.
Douglas Sommers (2013.12.14)
As compared to other telescopes, this telescope is as light as a feather! Levenhuk Strike 80 NG weights only 13 lbs, some telescopes weight up to 90 lbs!
Customer service:
Yes, you are right, thanks to the alt-azimuth mount Levenhuk Strike 80 NG Telescope is very light which allows for easier transportation and assembling.
Ronda Vega (2013.11.30)
Hi! I want to buy this telescope as a gift to my mom for Christmas. So here is a question: is this a suitable model for beginners? Is it possible to use it "out of the box" without any additions at first? Thanks
Customer service:
Yes, Levenhuk Strike 80 NG Telescope is perfect for beginners. Accessories included in the kit are quite enough for starting the observations.
Jennifer Wright (2013.11.25)
Hello. I am considering purchasing your 80 NG telescope and was wondering if you have a digital download version of the software that is included. Like so many laptops these days, mine does not have a disc drive and I would love to take advantage of the software. Thanks in advance!

Liza Watrous (2013.10.04)
which objects are available for observations through this telescope?
Customer service:
With the Levenhuk Strike 80 NG model you can observe Solar System planets, the Moon and constellations.
John (2013.09.29)
Got Levenhuk Strike 80 NG shipped. I noticed that during terrestrial observations (using 20 mm eyepiece) the view is reversed upside down and flipped left to right. But you said here that images should be upright and only mirrored.
Customer service:
To see the upright view you should use a diagonal mirror; without it the images will be reversed upside down.
Gary Ewald (2013.09.12)

My zip is 11710, if you cut out my shipping costs I will but it asap.

Scott
Customer service:
Hi Scott,
Thanks for the query.
We do not offer free shipping on our products.
It would actually be cheaper to ship the Levenhuk Strike 80 NG Telescope to zip 11710 by UPS Ground.
In this case, the cost of shipping is $14.79.
The cost of shipping to zip 11710 by USPS Standard Mail is $26.68.
Is there any additional information you might need?
Scott (2013.08.06)
I am comparing your scope to this one at the same price. This one has a motor and seems to be better...Celestron AstroMaster 114 EQ Reflector Telescope...what do you think, is your scope better than this one, honestly please compare the two if you please. A new customer and new to astronomy, but not a sucker so be honest with me. Also they have free shipping, what are your costs?
Customer service:
Hi Scott,
Thanks for the query.
The Celestron AstroMaster 114 EQ is a reflecting telescope whereas the Levenhuk Strike 80 NG is a refractor which is a much better choice for someone new to astronomy.
The Strike 80 NG refractor can be used both in the city and countryside environment because the tube is sealed and you don't get any dust or moisture inside which is not the case with the reflector which requires more maintenance.
The Strike 80 NG refracting telescope also does not require any adjustments and has less aberrations as compared to the AstroMaster 114 EQ reflector.
The Strike 80 NG model is more lightweight than the AstroMaster 114 EQ.
Another advantage of the Strike 80 NG refractor is an amazing kit which comes with it and includes the following:
- "See it all!" Astronomer's Handbook
- 3D Stellarium
- Space Posters Set (Moon, Sun and Other Stars, Solar System)
- Planisphere (rotating star chart)
- Compass.
The shipping cost depends on the destination and the courier.
You may choose one of the following:
- UPS Ground
- UPS 2nd Day Air
- UPS Next Day Air
- USPS Standard Mail
- USPS Priority Mail
Please let me know your ZIP and the preferred courier, I'll calculate the shipping cost for you.
Is there any additional information you might need?
Rod (2013.07.27)
Thanks for reply :) Also tell me please if the images are mirrored while observing the Moon and other planets + terrestrial objects. Thanks.
Customer service:
Yes, it's correct, the images produced by Levenhuk Strike 80 NG model are mirrored.
Eric (2013.07.02)
what magnifications provide eyepieces that come in the kit - F20 and F6
Customer service:
F20 mm eyepiece provides 36x magnification, and F6 mm eyepiece - 120x.
Kirill Biehl (2013.06.11)
Ok, I have one more question: if I am ready to spend fifty more bucks which telescope should I choose so it would be better and more powerful than 60 NG? thank you
Customer service:
Levenhuk Strike 80 NG is a perfect choice for you.
Kirill Biehl (2013.06.11)
Hello, I've purchased 60 NG, tell me if the difference between 80 NG and 60 NG significant? maybe it makes sense to spent a bit more money and buy 80 NG?
Customer service:
The difference is significant indeed, Levenhuk Strike 80 NG is the most advanced model in the Levenhuk Strike NG series.
Danielle Hiller (2013.06.10)
Bough it in april and can't complaint - it's an excellent telescope with advanced kit! Thank you all for it!
Customer service:
Thank you for your feedback.
Sara Jacobson (2013.05.29)
Which eyepiece should I use with Barlow lens included in the kit? And where can I find some info on how to figure it out?
Customer service:
When using a 3x Barlow lens you need an eyepiece with a focal length of 14 mm and more. You can find out which eyepiece you should use by dividing the telescope focal length by the desired resulting magnification. But you should keep in mind that the highest practical power of this telescope is 160x. You can calculate it by multiplying the objective lens diameter by two. A Barlow lens doubles or triples (depending on model) an eyepiece magnification.
Jane Tyler (2013.05.20)
I want to make a gift to a very gifted 6 y/o child. help me decide between this model and Levenhuk Strike 90 PLUS
Customer service:
Levenhuk Strike 90 PLUS is preferable, its advantages are: objective lens diameter, mount, the kit. Despite being more advanced than the Levenhuk Strike 80 NG telescope, it's still easy to use.
Judith Deiley (2013.04.10)
Are the images provided by this telescope black and white? Is there a thread on the tube for attaching a digital camera? What are the advantages of red dot finderscope?
Customer service:
The images provided while observing celestial objects are black and white. This model has no such thread. This finderscope provides for a small red dot to appear on the sky to help you define the direction in which the telescope is pointed.
Gail Kaufman (2013.04.02)
Which telescope wins judging by the price/quality ratio (by quality I mean image quality and the highest practical power): Levenhuk Strike 90 PLUS, Levenhuk Strike 80 NG, Levenhuk Strike 900 PRO.
Customer service:
Levenhuk Strike 900 PRO is a preferable choice because of its optics of a higher quality and more advanced mount.
Travis Noel (2013.03.29)
Mars and Venus seen through this telescope are black and white, right? Is there a way of seeing true color images?
Customer service:
The images will be black and white. Colored images may be obtained by using photo technical filters.
Amy Gore (2013.03.28)
I've bought it and tried it out, only haven't the opportunity to use the Barlow lens. This wonderful telescope weights only 13 lbs. with all the accessories included in the kit and packed in the box. Stellarium software is marvelous, you don't even need a telescope if you have it ))). I am very happy with this telescope.
Customer service:
Thank you for your feedback.
ASHLEY (2013.03.16)
How much does this telescope weight?
Customer service:
Levenhuk Strike 80 NG model weighs about 13.5 lbs. in the packaging box.
Brian Jennings (2013.03.11)
Thank you!
The first night I got it I was already able to observe Jupiter and four of its moons! Just like that, right out of my window!!!)) It's amazing… $150 is nothing compared to such experience… And Stellarium is a great helper! If it's a good weather today, I'm going to try for Andromeda, I have a strong feeling I will manage to see it through my telescope even with all the city lights)
Customer service:
Thank you for your feedback!
John (2013.03.05)
Say with Levenhuk Strike 80 NG and 5x Barlow lens will I be able to get any closer to NEPTUNE? to see the edges of our Solar System? please give me an advice, which Barlow lens or eyepiece do I need? THANKS A LOT.
Customer service:
The Levenhuk Strike 80 NG telescope can show you the binary stars with a separation of 1.6 arcseconds between their components, and has a limiting stellar magnitude of 11.5. But unfortunately that's not enough to see Neptune in details. To achieve the edge of the Solar System you need a telescope with an aperture of 130 mm and higher.
Sharon (2013.03.02)
Hello, are additional accessories included the kits of 60 NG and 80 NG equal (filters, erecting eyepiece, solar filter, case ….)?
Customer service:
Those accessories don't come with the models you mentioned. You can purchase planetary and solar filters, erecting eyepiece and telescope case separately.
