Description

Digital CMOS backlit color camera. The sensor is characterized by low noise and increased light sensitivity (462mV at 1/30s). The camera produces bright, detailed images even in low light. It is used for darkfield or brightfield studies using 4x, 10x, and 20x objectives. The MAGUS CDF70 camera helps achieve high detail even when observing moving objects.

This camera’s maximum resolution is 5440x3648px. At this resolution, the frame rate is 20 fps. You can set lower resolutions with higher frame rates: 2736x1824px (48fps) or 1824x1216px (58fps). With these resolutions and rates, the camera is used to observe moving objects. The frames transition is smooth, without delays, and so the object is convenient to observe and showcase to an audience.

The MAGUS CDF70 camera is installed in the trinocular tube or in the eyepiece tube of the microscope in place of the eyepiece. In both cases, a C-mount adapter of the appropriate diameter is required, and adapter rings are also required for installation in the eyepiece tube. The camera that is installed on the microscope connects to the computer via a USB3.0 port with a data transfer speed of 5Gbps.

Before you begin, you need to install the included MAGUS View software and drivers on your computer. All of the camera features require the software: Displaying images on a monitor, photo and video shooting, editing, etc. The program must be calibrated for each objective using a calibration slide (optional accessory).

Key features:

  • Backlit CMOS sensor, low signal-to-noise ratio, and high light sensitivity
  • Operation in darkfield or brightfield using objectives with magnifications of 4x, 10x, and 20x
  • Installation into the trinocular tube via a C-mount adapter or into an eyepiece tube using an adapter and adapter rings
  • USB3.0 interface, data transfer speeds up to 5Gbps
  • Three resolutions with different frame rates, observing moving objects in real time, without delay
  • Installation CD with the software and drivers included

The kit includes:

  • Digital camera
  • USB cable
  • Installation CD with drivers and software
  • User manual and warranty card
