Description

Plan objective with 100x magnification is designed for use with a metallurgical microscope. It has a large working distance of 0.40mm and can work with samples with pronounced relief without the risk of scratching the lens or damaging the sample.

The plan achromatic objective corrects chromatic distortion for red and blue colors and spherical distortion for green. The curvature of the field of view has been corrected by 90%. The image is equally focused both in the center and at the edges. This is an advantage when using eyepieces with a wide field of view. Combination with a 10x/22mm eyepiece forms a 0.22mm field of view.

Eyepieces with magnification from 5x to 10x will provide the best image clarity with this objective. The useful magnification range of the microscope ranges from 425x to 850x. The maximum objective resolution is 0.33µm.

The objective is designed for an infinity-corrected optical system. The parfocal height is 45mm. It does not require a cover glass.
