Description

Objective for studying the structure of metals and alloys with 80x magnification. The accessory is designed for an infinity-corrected optical system. Its parfocal height is 45mm.

Objects made of metals and alloys are often textured, and handling the objective at normal heights has the potential to damage the lens or sample. The Plan objective is installed at a large working distance of 1.25mm from the sample. It makes it safe to use for both the objective itself and the object of study. A cover glass is not required with this objective.

Plan achromatic objective optics eliminate chromatic aberrations for red and blue colors, and spherical aberration for green. Plan achromatic objectives form a wide working field of view, correcting its curvature up to 90%.

The 80x objective produces useful microscope magnification ranging from 400x to 800x. Its maximum resolution is 0.33µm. For the best observation results, it is recommended to combine the objective with eyepieces with a magnification of 5 to 10x.
