Description

Objective for studying samples in polarized light, whether transmitted or reflected. When making lenses for polarizing objectives, internal strains are avoided so that the optics do not produce birefringence or affect the observation.

The 50x MAGUS SFR50 has a resolution limit of 0.39µm. It is designed for an infinity-corrected optical system at a 45mm parfocal distance. There is no need to cover the sample with a cover glass for observation.

A plan achromatic objective corrects aberrations: chromatic in red and blue colors, spherical in green, geometric for 90% of the image area. The objective provides a wide and clear field of view. It is suitable for coupling it with a system that has a digital camera or wide-field eyepieces with a 22mm field of view. A 10x/22mm eyepiece will provide a field of view of 0.44mm. The image will be equally clear both in the middle and at the edges.

A useful microscope magnification for this objective will be between 350x and 700x. To obtain the required magnification, use eyepieces with a magnification of 7x to 15x. Eyepieces with a lower magnification will not enable you to effectively examine the sample; an eyepiece with a magnification greater than 15x will not provide new data.
