Description

Objective for studies in transmitted and reflected polarized light. Strain-free lenses do not create birefringence and do not affect the study result.

The SFR80 objective has 80x magnification and a resolution limit of 0.35µm. It combines with infinity-corrected optical system microscopes. The parfocal distance is 45mm. A cover glass is not required for operation.

The objective optics correct field curvature over 90% of the observed area. The image is clear both in the center and on the periphery. The wide field of view is suitable for use with a digital camera or a wide-field eyepiece. A 10x/22mm eyepiece will provide a field of view of 0.27mm. Spherical aberration is corrected for green and chromatic aberration for red and blue.

With the SFR80 model, the lower limit of the useful magnification of the microscope is 400x, and the upper limit is 800x. To obtain this useful magnification, it is recommended to combine the objective with eyepieces of 5x to 10x magnification. Eyepieces with magnification less than 5x will be ineffective for study; studies with eyepiece magnification greater than 10x will not be more informative.
